Some of you may have noticed the bold gold star graphic on the front cover. I am proud to announce that The York University Magazine has won the Gold Award - Digital Magazines in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) 2018 Circle of Excellence Awards, which recognize outstanding international work in university advancement communications, fundraising and marketing.
Judges' comments included: “Completely unique, bold yet minimalist design” and “Interesting it mimicked a print magazine but was fully digital, with a high-gloss feel.”
I would like to congratulate the small-but-mighty design and writing team, and sincerely thank all the alumni, faculty, staff and others who have agreed to tell their stories in The Magazine for taking the time out of their busy schedules to be interviewed and photographed.
